The time traveling Dr Flu asks the audience to help him with his research into the Roman Empire as he meets Roman Soldiers, Emperors and British Barbarians from one of the most interesting times in history. Dr Flu and the Romans in Britain is perfect for weekday performances during term time and can sold directly to schools groups.
A perfect compliment to Key Stage Two History - DR FLU AND THE ROMANS IN BRITAIN is a totally interactive experience with loads of laughs, tons of amazing facts and heaps of audience participation. Students will love watching as Dr Flu meets Roman Britain’s bravest and nastiest.

Simon Aylin
Thingymagigs Children’s Theatre Company was founded by experienced writer, director and performer Simon Aylin.
As a storyteller Simon has performed to children in hundreds of schools and as an actor has worked extensively in Theatres all around the UK. His children's plays Where on Earth? Aliens from Nid, It Could be You and You-Me-Us have all toured schools throughout the country and his musicals The Material Girl of Venice, The Merry Wives of Motown and The Fairytale Factory all premiered at The Key Theatre in Peterborough.
Simon is also a seasoned Pantomime performer and recently appeared as Buttons alongside Britt Eckland in Cinderella at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon, which he also wrote. |
