Rebecca Caine, the Toronto born soprano, has divided her career between opera and musical theatre. Her West End debut at 19, was as Laurey in Oklahoma. This was followed by a national tour as Eliza in My Fair Lady and then she created the role of Cosette in Les Miserables. As Christine in the original cast of ‘Phantom’ with Michael Crawford in London she went on to repeat the role for the Canadian premiere in Toronto.
Her career has included work with many international opera companies: Glyndebourne Opera, Scottish Opera, English National Opera, National Theatre of Prague, Opera North, Canadian Opera Company among others.
